What we collect

Hostvo processes inbound phone calls to restaurants that subscribe to the Service. For each call we may collect:

  • The caller's phone number (provided by the carrier)
  • A text transcript of the call
  • Any information the caller volunteers (name, party size, pickup time, etc.)
  • Call metadata (duration, time, language, sentiment classification)

How long we keep it

We don't store audio recordings. Text transcripts and call metadata default to 18 months; subscribing restaurants can request shorter retention.

Who we share it with

We share the minimum needed with the subprocessors listed at /legal/subprocessors. We don't sell call data to advertisers or data brokers.

Your rights (CCPA / GDPR)

Callers can request a copy of, or deletion of, any data we hold by emailing [email protected]. We respond within 30 days.

AI disclosure & call recording

Hostvo does not record audio — we store only a text transcript of each call, so call-recording consent laws do not apply to our processing. Every call opens with a disclosure that the caller is speaking with an AI assistant.
